Aquaculture club was founded on the 13th February 2007 by a group of enthusiastic hobbyists. Fundamental purpose of its existence is to spread the love and passion of Aquaculture amongst the students and the staff of Singapore Polytechnic. With virtually no history, our pioneering batch of student overcomes all odds, giving rises to the club and establishes its foundation.

Through innovative and perseverance, SP Aquaculture continues to shine and gain much sought after popularity among the students, clubs and institution administration. As a result, the club is given the opportunity to expand its foundation with more space to conduct from lab research to breeding projects.

Members of Aquaculture Club have committed precious time to fulfill their passion. Plenty of opportunities are given to student to release their hidden potential to imagine and be creative in glass tanks. Many Aquarium located in the campus are especially designed and setup by our dedicated members.

We truly hope that you can be part of our dedicated and creative team. Your participation will no doubt opens up your mind and widen your sight.

Currently our club is constructing a nusery for our plants it is gona be filled with purely with algae eaters and other fishes which would help keep the tank clean..other than that it would also be populated with sakura shrimps

Cleaning our plants before planting..

Our 1st layer done now waiting for tank to stabalise...

Hardier plants like the hairgrass and glosso are planted 1st

Work today was done till around 8.30pm once the 1st layer has set roots and stabalise we will then raise the water level up to the 2nd step and start planting HC using emerse method 1st..along wif japanses hairgrass
